Youth Mental Health Education Fellowship with Letters to Strangers
The Letters to Strangers Youth Mental Health Education Fellowship is a free professional development opportunity for U.S. high school educators, counselors, and administrators interested in expanding mental health education in their school communities. The program selects 10 National Fellows who will implement youth mental health education initiatives during the 2026–27 school year and receive a $1,000 stipend to support their work. Fellows also gain access to a clinically informed mental health curriculum, 15 hours of professional development credit, monthly expert-led learning sessions, and ongoing support from the Letters to Strangers network. The fellowship is designed to help school-based professionals strengthen students' mental health literacy and create more supportive school environments. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and are due by June 30, 2026.
