New Champions Fund

The Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA) by InnovateEDU recently launched the 2024 cycle of their New Champions Fund opportunity, an unrestricted competitive sub-grant and year-long mentorship to support leaders of color, or allies of the equity in education movement, who are actively working to support students with disabilities. In addition to a $35,000 grant and mentorship to accomplish strategic goals, the recipients will have opportunities to spotlight their work on a national level through media, podcasts, webinars, and national events. AWS Imagine Grant for Tech

AWS Imagine Grant, a public grant opportunity through Amazon, aims to support nonprofit organizations to prioritize and leverage technology. They are currently seeking proposals for pilot projects, proofs of concept, or existing programs that utilize technology in a new or expanded way. There are three different categories for U.S. applicants: The Pathfinder - Generative AI award, providing support for a highly innovative, mission-critical project that leverages generative AI, the The Go Further, Faster award, focused on innovative projects leveraging the cloud, and The Momentum to Modernize Award, for technology infrastructure projects. Read the application instructions and apply by June 3, 2024.

Call For Kindness

Riley’s Way Foundation’s Call For Kindness gives young leaders (ages 13-23) across the country the skills, connections, and funding they need to run social impact projects that inspire kindness and strengthen their local, national, or global communities. The Call For Kindness consists of a 12-month leadership development fellowship and a startup grant of up to $5,000. Fellows receive 1:1 coaching and project support, virtual skill-building sessions, an in-person leadership retreat, networking, mentorship opportunities, and a peer community of other young changemakers. Fellows can also apply for Continuation Grants with ongoing project support and coaching. The deadline to apply is March 25, 2024

SparkYouth NYC

SparkYouth NYC is currently soliciting proposals for participation in its 10th Cohort, which will commence in January 2025. Selected organizations will receive three years of general operating support, ranging from approximately $50,000 - $80,000 per year; be a part of a supportive cohort of peer organizations; and participate in SparkYouth’s Cofactor Lab, a unique program designed to build the capacity and long-term sustainability of nonprofit organizations in the areas of people, practices, and resources. The deadline to apply is March 8, 2024.

2024 Aim High Grant

The New York Life Foundation’s 2024 Aim High grant competition is now open for applications. A total of 40 grants totaling $1.8 million will be awarded to afterschool, summer, or expanded learning programs serving middle school youth. Programs will be selected for grants based on their ability to help youth transition successfully to ninth grade and how they provide academic, social, and emotional supports for youth. Eligible programs can apply to one of four grant categories with funding ranging from $15,000 to $100,000. Take a look at the opportunities to find the grant category that best aligns with your program’s goals and mission. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2024.
