UpTide, A Nonprofit Accelerator through 92NY

UpTide, a nonprofit accelerator through 92NY, has a cohort opportunity for five nonprofit leaders from diverse, community-building organizations across the country looking to significantly scale the impact of their programs. This opportunity includes a $5,000 unrestricted grant, a weeklong retreat in NYC, support with communications, strategic planning, and governance, mentorship, and access to a robust network. New Champions Fund with Educating All Learners Alliance

The Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA) launched the 2025 cycle of their New Champions Fund opportunity, an unrestricted competitive sub-grant and year-long mentorship to support leaders of color, or allies of the equity in education movement, who are actively working to support students with disabilities. In addition to a $35,000 grant and mentorship to accomplish strategic goals, the recipients will have opportunities to spotlight their work on a national level through media, podcasts, webinars, and national events. Here Comes the Fun Fund (Digital Wellbeing) through Young Futures

Is your organization creating opportunities for digital play, such as games, apps, and interactive platforms, through which students can connect, explore, and strengthen their wellbeing? Young Futures has launched the Here Comes The Fun funding challenge in partnership with the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop, with support from Niantic. This challenge will uplift and scale solutions that design, build, and facilitate play that meets pre-teens and teens where they are to enhance wellbeing outcomes across digital experiences. The funding period will be October 2025 to September 2026, and grants will range in size from $25,000 to $100,000. Interested organizations should complete an eligibility quiz via the website, and eligible organizations will receive a link through which to submit a Letter of Inquiry by the May 9, 2025 deadline.

2025 Innovation Fund from The Tow Foundation

The Tow Foundation has launched its 2025 Innovation Fund, a new grant opportunity for nonprofit organizations innovatively expanding access to the care and support that youth need to thrive. The Innovation Fund will make grants, ranging from $300,000 to $1 million over three years, to up to 10 organizations that are improving youth mental health and well-being for young people between the ages of 0-25. The Fund aims to support innovative approaches from a range of environments, including community, school, and clinical settings. NYS Building Opportunities in Out-of-School Time (BOOST) RFP through OCFS

The NYS Office of Children and Families (OCFS) recently released the New York State Building Opportunities in Out-of-School Time (BOOST) Request For Proposals (RFP 1164). This funding is intended to serve high-school-aged youth (ages 13-21) during afternoon and evening hours, weekends, and/or school breaks, including the summer, using a positive youth development approach. The BOOST initiative is a pilot approach to fostering stronger bonds between school, as a primary institution of stabilization and growth, and community programs that offer arts; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM); civic engagement; leadership development; and career exploration opportunities. Learn more by reviewing the RFP materials and submit applications by May 9, 2025
