NYC Fund for Girls & Young Women of Color - Request for Proposals

The New York Women’s Foundation's New York City Fund For Girls and Young Women of Color (The Fund) has announced a Fall 2016 request for proposals.The Fund seeks to support organizations and programs that advance life outcomes of girls, young women, and transgender/gender non-binary youth of color through structural change efforts while addressing individual immediate harms and historical trauma. William T. Grant Foundation's Youth Service Improvement Grants

The William T. Grant Foundation's Youth Service Improvement Grants program awards grants in the amount of $25,000 to New York City community-based organizations working to improve the quality of the services they offer to young people between the ages of 5 and 25. Grants fund specific, standalone projects that will make services more effective and, ultimately, provide youth with better experiences. Possible problem areas for improvement may include: program curriculum and teaching materials, direct service skills of front-line staff, or a gap in current services. Applications are due September 8, 2016, 3:00 p.m. EST.
