Girls Rise Up STEM-based Dance Camp

This summer, STEM from Dance is offering a STEM-based dance camp called Girls Rise Up. Join a community of ambitious young ladies for an inspiring experience uncovering the magic that happens when you bring dance and coding together. Over the course of the program, participants will collaborate with friendly instructors and fellow participants to explore the incredible world of code and dance with hands-on learning and a performance you won’t forget. The intensive runs from July 9-20, 2018 (Monday - Friday) for two weeks at 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Deadline for applications is May 6, 2018.

The Door's Summer Senior Success Camp

Senior Success Camp at The Door is a summer program run by College Paths, The Door’s college access program. This program is open to rising high school seniors who are on track to graduate in 2018 and need support applying to college. Senior Success Camp consists of a series of workshops covering each part of the college application process. The camp takes place July 9 - August 10, 2018. Deadline for applications is May 18, 2018.

Discover Swarthmore

Discover Swarthmore, held in the fall, is an all-expenses-paid overnight program for high-achieving high school seniors. Attendees experience Swarthmore firsthand as they attend classes, stay with current students in their residence halls, eat in the dining hall, and go to campus events. Prospective students hear from faculty, staff, alumni, and current students through a series of panel discussions and informal conversations. CBO advisors, teachers, or counselors can nominate students via the online application. Student applications are also being accepted, and are due by July 16, 2018.

2018 The Nantucket Project Scholars Program

The Nantucket Project Scholars Program supports socially conscious leaders with purpose-driven projects to reach their full potential. The program begins each year at The Nantucket Project (TNP), a four day festival of ideas on the island in September, where Scholars participate in hands-on workshops. Over the course of a year TNP works with Scholars, individually and as a group, to provide them with knowledge, influential relationships, and a platform for their work. Applications for the 2018 TNP Scholars Program close at 5:00 pm on May 7, 2018.
