A Night With Angie Thomas

Powerhouse YA author Angie Thomas joins Brooklyn Public Library on October 25, 2019 from 7:00pm-9:00pm to discuss themes from her two New York Times bestselling novels about powerful young women who use their voices to effect change. Angie will be in conversation with BPL YA librarian Adeeba Afshan Rana. Copies of her books will be available and Angie will be signing after the event. RSVP to join.

The Cooper Union STEM Outreach

The Cooper Union STEM Outreach program is hosting a high school engineering education workshop during the American Society for Engineering Education conference on November 1, 2019 from 3:00pm–5:00pm. Educators, administrators and policymakers from schools and out-of-school learning organizations serving K-12 are invited to join. Registration is free.
