The 1619 Project: Partnerships for Afterschool Programs

The Pulitzer Center is providing a new opportunity for afterschool program educators and administrators to access, adapt, and facilitate 1619 Project resources with their classrooms. Partners will receive consultation and resources to support their implementation of 1619 resources in their contexts, the option to connect with a community of afterschool educators who are also doing this work, and the opportunity for their students to share creative responses to The 1619 Project in a virtual symposium at the end of the school year. Interest forms will be considered on a rolling basis until March 1, 2022, or until the program reaches capacity.
