Connected for Kids Launch Webinar

Curious about how various youth-serving systems can collaborate and coordinate to help youth thrive? Join Connected for Kids on November 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM for their virtual launch event. Led by Child Trends and the Thrive Center at Georgetown University, this new national effort will bring together leaders across education, health, youth development, mental health, and community development to co-create a shared roadmap for flourishing in the elementary years. Join the conversation to hear from national leaders about how we can build a more connected, coordinated approach to help every child grow up healthy, supported, and full of possibility. Youth Career Readiness Grants with The NBA Foundation

The NBA Foundation has an open funding opportunity for local and national organizations serving under-resourced youth ages 14-24 that promote school-to-career employment opportunities, including job readiness, skill training, job placement, and career advancement. This opportunity is open to 501(c)3 organizations in a market with an NBA team. Funded proposals typically start at approximately $25,000, with an average amount of $250,000. 2025 America After 3PM Report from Afterschool Alliance

Since 2004, Afterschool Alliance’s America After 3PM study has provided a comprehensive view into how children and young people spend the hours between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Last week, Afterschool Alliance released the fifth edition of the report, revealing the latest data on afterschool demand, barriers to program participation, which students are missing out, and parents’ views on afterschool programs.
