School-Aged Childcare Credential Course

Teachable NYC's School-Aged Childcare Credential Course is an in-depth study of competency standards that reflect best practices in after-school programs. This course is designed for individuals currently employed in school age child care program and will explore competency standards demonstrating the ability to nurture children’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth. Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Series

The New York State Network for Youth Success is pleased to offer a training series on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) for afterschool and youth professionals. JEDI practices will create better outcomes for youth, sending them out into a world feeling seen, valued, and appreciated for who they are. Through this series, the Network’s trained professionals will help guide participants through the many facets of JEDI. Learn more about this series and register for a session.

Grounded Program Design: Anti-Oppression Approaches

Join Seachange Collective for an interactive three-part virtual workshop on grounded program design. It will take place on October 19, 2022, October 26, 2022, and November 2, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The workshop will introduce a six-step approach that helps participants develop and implement projects, programs, and initiatives based on community needs and justice – rather than assumed knowledge and charity. There is a cost associated with this offering. The deadline to register is October 14, 2022.
