Nuestros Saberes: a call for art, reconciliation and justice in education

Calling all artists and creators who are passionate about education! Eileen Jimenez, a doctoral candidate at University of Washington Tacoma, is conducting dissertation research that explores "What would education look and feel like if we could reimagine what it means to learn?" You can read more about the goals of the research through the official call for submissions. Pieces of any medium are invited, and in addition to being included in the research findings, submissions will be considered for display at galleries in Seattle, WA, Austin, TX, or online. Education Narratives Project: Tell Your Story of Education During the Pandemic

Do you have a story that you want to share about teaching during the pandemic? Oral History Summer School, an oral history training program based in Hudson, NY, has been collecting stories of educators since June 2020 through their Education Narratives Project. If you'd like to add to this collective narrative, call their Educators Storyline at 1-844-SPEAK05 (1-844-773-2505) to share thoughts, insights, or stories via a voicemail of up to five minutes. Deadline to submit stories is October 31, 2022.
