Power of Us Workforce Survey

The Power of Us Workforce Survey is a first of its kind study that seeks to know and understand more about the experiences of staff and volunteers who support youth outside of the traditional school day. The data from the survey will help inform policy, practice, and further research to better support the workforce and ultimately improve job quality in the field. The Power of Us team wants to make sure that the data reflects your story! Grant Writing 101: Reviewing the Basics of Grant Writing

Grant writing seems mysterious. It is a unique type of writing, but there are some basic pointers that can make writing a grant proposal approachable for any person or organization. This session from the New York State Network for Youth Success focuses on locating grants, creating templates for grant writing, and identifying a good starting spot for your school or organization. Behavioral Design for Equitable Workplaces

Despite our best intentions, inequity in the workplace is often maintained by the systems we put in place. That's why changing processes often has a greater impact on promoting equity and inclusion than efforts to change employee attitudes. Join the NYC Behavioral Design Center on March 7 and 14, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, for a two-part workshop that teaches how to reduce the effects of bias by fixing the processes or structures used in staff recruiting, assessment, hiring, onboarding, supervision, and performance management.
