Shira Woolf Cohen

Innovageous

Shira Woolf Cohen is an educator, community organizer, leader and author. Shira’s focus as founder at Innovageous is partnerships, programs and instruction, in both school-based and out-of-school time settings. Before founding Innovageous, she spent 19 years in multiple roles, including Principal, at a Philadelphia charter school, and served as an Adjunct Instructor at multiple universities and on several nonprofit boards. Shira holds a Bachelors of Science in Middle School Education and Mathematics from Lesley University, and a Masters of Education in Urban Education and Principal Certification from Temple University. Her book, Leading Future-Focused Schools: Engaging and Preparing Students for Career Success, was written to inspire school leaders and serve as a guidebook for promoting future-focused mindsets.
