David Flowerdew

David Flowerdew is the Deputy Head of Rates and Macro within the Fixed Income division at Millennium. He oversees 35 groups of traders and helps with the development and growth of the Fixed Income division. Prior to taking his role will Millenium, David was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he served as Co-Head of Global Rates and Head of New York Macro Trading. After joining the firm in London in 2001, he built a distinguished career across interest rate strategy and trading, rising to leadership roles overseeing USD options, swaps, U.S. Treasuries, inflation, FX spot, and derivatives businesses. David earned both his BA and M.Math in Mathematical Sciences from Exeter College, Oxford University, graduating with First Class honors and receiving multiple academic prizes. He also completed a Master of Science in Mathematics and the Foundations of Computer Science at Oxford.
