Kalvin Wilson

Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC)

Kalvin Wilson holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Stony Brook University. Over the past 13 years, he has dedicated his career to College Access and Higher Education. He has served as a high school counselor, a College Access advisor for the SUNY BEOC program, and is currently an Academic Advisor for BMCC ASAP, where he co-founded the Transfer Committee. 

Having witnessed firsthand how college can transform lives, including his own, Wilson is deeply passionate about helping individuals find the right path to higher education and career success. Given the constant changes in the landscape of higher education, his work on the Transfer Committee has allowed him to develop a deep expertise in the transfer process, further fueling his commitment to supporting students on their academic journeys.
