Astrid Spota-Wolfe

New York City Department of Youth and Community Development

Astrid Spota-Wolfe has led policy,  program development, grant development, research, and evaluation processes to improve the efficacy, design, and implementation of services provided by city government and Community-Based Organization for over 10 years. In her current role at the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), she leads the agency's stakeholder engagement processes to inform policy and program design; facilitates decision-making processes with multi-disciplinary teams across the city to set program goals and expectations; translates decisions into Concept Papers and Request for Proposals;  and develops criteria to evaluate funding proposals. Prior to DYCD, she worked at a variety of nonprofit organizations where she developed and oversaw a myriad of research and evaluation projects; developed metrics related to program performance and impact;  and leveraged insights generated to drive strategic planning.
