Biography

Christie Hodgkins has experience in many aspects of youth development: creating and scaling high quality programs for children and teens, hiring and supporting staff, engaging parents and other stakeholders, building effective partnerships, developing and managing budgets and working with funders. Christie earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Wake Forest University. She participated in Columbia Business School’s Institute for Non-Profit Management Development Program and The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond’s Anti-Racist Community Training. After 20 amazing years CAMBA, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Education and Youth Development, Christie now works as the Arts Education Director at KoKoNYC: an arts based science and engineering program for kids.
