Taj Tabassoom

Taj Tabassoom is a partner at SeaChange Capital Partners, an organization dedicated to helping nonprofits navigate complex opportunities and challenges, where she oversees lending and program-related investments. At SeaChange, Taj works closely with nonprofits to provide financing and guidance at critical junctures - from acquiring permanent space to bridging emergency working capital needs to make payroll. She has a deep appreciation for mission-driven work and feels privileged to support nonprofits as they continue to serve their communities.
Taj joined SeaChange in 2016 after having worked in traditional finance, most recently with JPMorgan and a hedge fund of funds. She holds a Master of International Affairs in Economic Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baruch College. Outside of work, Taj enjoys exploring national parks, chasing after her toddler, and spending quality time with family and friends.
