Zaryah Guyton

Northeastern University

Zaryah is the Associate Director of Admissions for Application Evaluation and Enrollment Projects at Northeastern University. With nine years of experience in college admissions, including her time at Roger Williams University, she has cultivated a deep commitment to student mentorship, college access, and inclusive recruitment practices.


At Northeastern, Zaryah helps lead the undergraduate application review process, facilitates staff training on file reading, works closely with early decision students and their families, and oversees the selection process for the Ujima Global Leaders Scholarship. Throughout her career, she has recruited in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, the DMV, Georgia, Upstate New York, and, most recently, Canada. These experiences have allowed her to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and school counselors across diverse communities.


A proud first-generation college graduate, Zaryah earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University and her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University. She is passionate about expanding access to higher education and supporting students throughout the college search and admission process.


Zaryah currently serves as Vice President of NECBAC (Northeast Consortium Bridging Access to College) and previously served on the organization’s Board of Directors and was a former Ambassador for the Coalition for College.
