Caleigh Forbes-Cockell

Poly Prep Country Day School

I work at an independent school in Brooklyn (Poly Prep), handling admissions operations. My primary role includes helping families navigate all pieces of the admissions process, from event management to application processing.  I grew up in New York City and attended an independent school. I'm drawn to my line of work (and PASE!) in part because of my educational experience and the meaningful impact on me that my teachers had on me. The opportunities that I had growing up shaped many aspects of my life in ways that encourage me to want to increase access to those opportunities and connections for as many students as possible. Outside of my work, I'm a women's soccer fan (Gotham FC and Chelsea FCW) and I'm in a part-time grad school program for learning analytics and AI. I love to citibike, play the whole roster of NYT games, and spend time in Fort Greene Park.

PASE believes all kids deserve a safe, nurturing space during out-of-school time where they have opportunities to explore their passions while connecting with and learning from caring adults. We exist to improve the quality of afterschool programs for children and teens living in poverty.
