Chantelle Doswell

Columbia University's School of Social Work

Chantelle Doswell, LCSW is Liberation Focused Trauma Therapist based in NYC & an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's School of Social Work. Chantelle is especially trained in facilitating body-based coping and healing from complex trauma, such as EMDR, breathwork and meditations, and movement-based interventions. Chantelle began her career working with youth first doing community organizing through theater in Washington, DC in 2009 and later working at a non-profit providing family therapy as an alternative to sentencing for youth in NYC. She created her practice Ordinary Healing, LLC, in 2018, which focuses on providing creative, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive therapy and group healing experiences to historically oppressed communities.
