Jacqueline Horgan

Full STEAM Forward

Dr. Jacqueline Horgan is the Vice President of Education at Full STEAM Forward, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to high-quality STEM and arts programming for elementary-aged girls of color. With a Ph.D. in Science Education, her work bridges formal and informal learning environments, centering student identity, culturally responsive teaching, and equity in science education.

At Full STEAM Forward, she leads curriculum design, instructional coaching, and evaluation. Her work supports teachers in building confidence as science educators and curious co-learners, while equipping students with critical 21st-century skills, including creative problem-solving, collaboration, and an early understanding of emerging tools like artificial intelligence. The organization offers virtual and in-person STEAM programs across the U.S. and internationally in Kenya.

Dr. Horgan brings a background in museum education and a deep commitment to making science accessible, joyful, and relevant for all learners. She is currently exploring how after-school programs can nurture belonging, curiosity, and confidence in science for youth.
