Tamara Tingman

Children’s Aid College Prep Charter School

Tamara Tingman is a Licensed Social Worker with over 8 years of service in the field of social services. Tamara Tingman is an experienced Life Coach Director with Children’s Aid, which serves over 600 K-8 grade scholars in the South Bronx. Tamara spearheads SEL, DEI, and YPAR initiatives at CACPCS. She received a Bachelors in Communication and Social Interactions from State University at Oswego (SUNY) New York and Masters of Social Work from NYU Silver School of Social Work. Ms. Tingman has dedicated many years of her professional career to working with youth and families of diverse populations in community based and school settings. Through her work with vulnerable and at-risk populations in the Bronx community she has found a love for community and education reform and mental health wellness in urban communities. Ms. Tingman hopes to build a safe environment where youth and families feel free to learn, flourish and reach their highest potential. Ms. Tingman endeavors to contribute to building and strengthening individuals, families and communities in which she derives, in a culturally competent fashion, and leading efforts to support and improve lives.
