Joseph Wilson II

CUNY York College

Joseph Wilson II is a native of Brooklyn, a product of the NYC DOE, with a decade of experience in Higher Education Administration, including roles at CUNY, a Private 4-year college, an Ivy League institution, and, most recently, in the non-profit field as the former College Retention Specialist at Red Hook Initiative. As a first-generation college student, Joseph understands the complexities and challenges that Black and Brown students face upon stepping onto any campus. He has advocated for equitable practices wherever he has been.
