Afterschool Standards

The Indiana Afterschool Network has developed Afterschool Standards, with the goal of outlining the path and specific steps that lead to quality programs, based on research and best practices in the education and youth development fields. The standards, which are free to download, are for the most part not specific to Indiana programs, and can be used or adapted by any afterschool program seeking to measure quality and plan for improvement. In addition to general standards, the network has also developed speciality standards for College and Career Readiness; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programming; and Summer Learning.
