Best Practices in Sexual and Reproductive Health Care for Adolescents

As part of the Young Men’s Initiative, the NYC Health Department has developed a guide, Best Practices in Sexual and Reproductive Health Care for Adolescents, which reflects current evidence, guidelines, and input from many experts in the field of adolescent sexual health. The online version also contains links to useful resources to assist in implementation of best practices. Another new resource, the Teens in NYC Web-based Portal, is open to NYC providers of adolescent sexual and reproductive health services and allows them to assess their performance relative to the Best Practices, inform quality improvement work, and receive updates on resources and training for NYC providers.
