2023 post conference thank you

This event has already passed.

Thank you for Activating the Power of Afterschool with PASE! We will be sharing workshop materials and photos in the coming weeks

The PASE team hosted our 19th annual citywide conference this Wednesday, and it was a packed day full of learning and connection.

In total, 225 individuals participated in the event, including agency executive directors, frontline youth workers, government officials, higher ed professionals, researchers, and a wide range of afterschool supporters.

Thank you to our wonderful keynote speakers: Council Member Althea Stevens, Queens Public Library's President & CEO, Dennis M. Walcott, and New Profit's Managing Partner, Shawn Dove.

We are also deeply appreciative of our passionate and talented workshop facilitators who shared their expertise on topics such as grief and bereavement, project management, trauma-informed practices, youth voice in evaluation, adaptive leadership, and more.

We will be sharing workshop materials and photos in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, we wanted to leave you with a question from Shawn Dove's powerful closing keynote:

"What would you do for afterschool if you were ten times bolder?"

--Shawn Dove, Afternoon Keynote Speaker

We look forward to answering that call to action together and hope to see you at another PASE event soon.
