Activating the Power of Afterschool

PASE Annual Conference

July 21, 2026 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

2026 Activating the Power of Afterschool Mailchimp 2

This signature citywide event celebrates the impact of afterschool on youth and families, promotes innovation, and elevates lessons learned. We welcome Executive Directors, supervisors, and front-line staff from youth-serving community-based agencies, as well as funders, higher education administrators, policymakers, and educators, for a day focused on emerging trends, challenges, and promising practices.

Workshop RFPs

We are looking for facilitators to present relevant, timely, and engaging workshop content. The conference is an opportunity to re-energize the field and highlight strategies, practices, and partnerships that foster quality afterschool programs.

Our primary audience is afterschool educators and leaders

We welcome workshop proposals focusing on a range of topics, including:

  • Staff supervision and management
  • SEL and mental health
  • Supporting neurodivergent learners
  • Youth leadership and activism
  • College and career readiness
  • Effective program design
  • Conflict resolution
  • And more

We especially encourage frontline youth practitioners, field supervisors, and educators to apply.

Conference workshops are a great opportunity to share your expertise, elevate your work, and connect with peers from across the city.
