Creating Your CBO Profile for Colleges
May 28, 2026 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
For community-based organizations (CBOs) that support college prep and success, establishing relationships with higher education institutions is essential to the work.
In order to register for this event you need to or first.
A first step in helping colleges understand your program and distinguish it from others is through a CBO profile. This document is designed with colleges and universities in mind and highlights how an organization works with youth to get them to and through college.
In this online session, PASE and Northwestern University will discuss why an organization should create a profile, what should be included, and who should be involved in designing the final document. Participants will also review elements of sample profiles and begin creating their own using a provided template, or explore ways to refresh an existing one. The session will close with a group brainstorm on how to share the profile with higher education individuals and institutions.
This session is for staff providing college access and success support to K-12 and college-age youth.
