Mitigating Bias

March 12, 2025 10:00 am to 11:30 am

A workshop for DYCD funded organizations.

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

This online session focuses on how to understand, identify and mitigate implicit bias.

Implicit bias is a natural element of human behavior, but there is work we can do to minimize it. During this session, participants will develop a foundational understanding of implicit biases: where they come from and how they impact us. We will then identify ways to combat biases in our work and personal lives.

This workshop is intended for DYCD funded organizations. DYCD Staff are welcome. This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $230 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for cancelling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
