Navigating FAFSA: Supporting Independent Students and Immigrant Families
January 13, 2027 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
This online workshop will explore how to support independent students, students with limited or no parental information, undocumented students, and mixed-status families navigate the FAFSA process.
In order to register for this event you need to or first.
Helping students and families navigate the FAFSA can be especially challenging when they face circumstances that make the financial aid process more complex. Participants will learn about federal aid eligibility, special circumstances, FAFSA information protections, and the changing financial aid landscape. We’ll also discuss counseling strategies, best practices, and resources to help participants confidently support students and families through the financial aid process.
