Navigating FAFSA: Supporting Undocumented Students and Mixed Status Families

How do we best support our undocumented students and mixed-status families in this current political environment? Many students may not go to college or avoid seeking financial aid out of fear.
This online workshop will bring participants up to speed on the changing college landscape for both undocumented students and mixed-status families. Participants will learn who is eligible for federal aid, how FAFSA information is protected, and what families should know now. We’ll discuss counseling strategies and provide resources to share with colleagues, students, and families.
