Storytelling with Numbers: Crafting Visuals That Move Missions & Stakeholders

June 17, 2025 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Data doesn’t speak for itself—leaders do. In this hands-on online workshop designed for nonprofit leaders, participants will learn how to transform data into clear, compelling visual stories that resonate with stakeholders—from Board members and funders to frontline staff and community partners.

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

Through interactive exercises, real-world examples, and a visual storytelling team challenge, you’ll explore the art and science of communicating complex information with clarity, credibility, and emotion. Whether you’re making the case for funding, reporting outcomes, or sparking internal alignment, this workshop will help you visualize what matters and inspire action with every chart, graph, and story you share.

Workshop Objectives:
1. Learn key principles of data storytelling and how to align them with your organization’s mission and audience.
2. Explore common data visualization tools and formats (charts, dashboards, infographics) and when to use them.
3. Practice transforming real program, financial, and impact data into clear and persuasive visual narratives.
4. Understand how to tailor visual data stories for different stakeholders (e.g., funders vs. staff vs. Board).
