2026 NYC State of the Sector of Youth Development with the Coalition for Advancing Youth Development

Join the 2026 NYC State of the Sector of Youth Development conference on April 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at The CUNY Graduate Center, and make your voice heard during a defining moment for youth development in our city. As New York City makes a historic commitment to universal afterschool, this convening brings together youth development professionals to reflect on the state of our workforce and chart a collective path forward. Throughout the day, participants will engage in storytelling, creative expression, and collaborative planning focused on workforce stability and strength. Together, participants will develop actionable blueprints in direct conversation with the city's priorities for afterschool expansion. Speakers will include DYCD Commissioner Sandra Escamilla-Davies, with additional opportunities to hear from youth development professionals across the sector about the future of our shared work.
