ASW:NYSAN Fall Training Institute Call for Presenters

AfterSchool Works! NY: the New York State Afterschool Network (ASW:NYSAN) invites innovative, creative, and engaging presenters interested in sharing proven and promising practices and strategies in afterschool, summer, expanded learning, and community schools to present at the ASW:NYSAN Fall Training Institute on November 14, 2015 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Rochester, NY. ASW:NYSAN is looking for workshops that address important issues in youth development, such as social-emotional learning, managing difficult behaviors in students, and engaging staff members. This year’s conference will include two STEM-focused tracks, one providing participants with hands-on STEM engagement and one for supporting STEM systems in afterschool and expanded learning programs. Proposals are due by July 17, 2015.
