Grounded Program Design: Taking Social Justice Work from Values to Practice

On October 12, 2018, Seachange Collective is hosting an interactive, 1-day workshop, Grounded Program Design: Taking Social Justice Work from Values to Practice, on "grounded program design," the development and implementation of initiatives based in community needs and justice – rather than assumed knowledge and charity. Facilitators will guide participants in reflecting on their experiences, the steps of grounded program design, and the complexities of social justice practice. Each participant will workshop their own real-life examples and develop personalized, practical steps to align their social justice values with their work. Register by August 31, 2018 to take advantage of an early bird discount.
