Local Assistance Grants from NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services

Nonprofit community-based organizations may apply for local mini grant assistance funding from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services to support youth, families and communities throughout the state. These local assistance grants of up $75,000 per grantee will be awarded to community-based organizations to fund direct service programming to support youth, families, and communities throughout New York State. This money is intended for programs that increase youth, family, and community engagement; increase access to trauma, healing, and behavioral health services; and increase prevention efforts and youth-centered service delivery. Review the full Request for Awards for more information or visit the DCJS website for all funding opportunities. Proposals are due on April 22, 2026 by 12:00 PM EST.
