Undoing Racism® Community Organizing Workshop

The College Access Consortium of NY (CACNY), The OPTIONS Center at Goddard Riverside, East Harlem Tutorial Program, Year Up New York, and The Door is hosting an Undoing Racism® Community Organizing Workshop by The People’s Institute. This 3-day intensive training opportunity takes place March 24 - 26, 2017 and is tailored exclusively for educators, college access and admissions professionals. Through dialogue, reflection, role-playing, strategic planning and presentations, this intensive process challenges participants to analyze the structures of power and privilege that hinder social equity and prepares them to be effective organizers/educators for justice. There is a fee to participate with a discounted rate available for CACNY members. Visit the OPTIONS website to register. Questions? Contact Malika Harris, CACNY Vice-Chair of Special Events, events@cacnyinc.org.
