Unspoken Words: A Discussion on Mental Health and Identity

Youth Advocacy Corps' Unspoken Words: A Discussion on Mental Health and Identity is a day-long summit for young adults from NYC between the ages of 15 and 24. This August 9, 2018 summit will include presentations by youth leaders and renowned educators, engaging conversations about mental health and social justice more generally, and more specific sessions focusing on the intersection of mental health and individual identity. Participants will look at how their individual identities impact their mental wellness, and will work together to develop meaningful recommendations for how NYC can better address the health needs of young people.
