Young Scholars Program

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's Young Scholars Program application period begins January 2016. The Young Scholars Program is a selective pre-college scholarship for high-performing youth with financial need. The program provides supports from 8 - 12 grade. However, students must apply in 7th grade. The foundation is hosting an online webinar on January 13, 2016 at 4:00 pm EST that will provide an overview of the program eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and key dates. Educators and community leaders working with 7th graders are encouraged to participate to learn how to identify students and best support them through the application process. Register to access the webinar.
