Pedagogy of Liberation with The Brotherhood Sister Sol

On Saturday, January 17, 2026The Brotherhood Sister Sol is hosting Pedagogy of Liberation at their Harlem headquarters (512 W 143rd St, New York, NY), a free one day conference for educators, youth workers, and community leaders who want to strengthen their work with young people through culturally rooted practices. Participants will explore hands-on workshops in Arts and Resistance, Culturally Relevant Design, Restorative Justice, Writers Collective, Environmental Justice, and Theatre of the Oppressed. They will also leave with practical tools they can bring directly into their classrooms and youth programs. Register today via their Eventbrite.

2026 Summit on Undergraduate Pathways into Education

Do you know a college student who is curious about careers in education and social change? Encourage them to attend the Summit on Undergraduate Pathways Into Education (SUPE) on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Bank Street College of Education (610 W 112th St, New York, NY). The event will include student performances, career workshops, networking, keynote, and dinner. Workshops topics will include technology and education, pathways into teaching, education policy, education research, school and district leadership, philanthropy in education, and more. Participants can save their spot via the Eventbrite.

StreetSquash is hosting their second annual Career Fair on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM at its Squash facility (41 W 115th St, New York, NY). Join CUNY Office of K-16 Initiatives on October 30, 2025 from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM at CUNY Graduate Center (365 5th Ave, New York, NY 10016) for a dynamic day dedicated to empowering postsecondary counselors, educators, and advocates with the latest insights into CUNY’s opportunity programs. The day will include remarks from CUNY leadership, presentations with updates on the SEEK/CD and ASAP/ACE opportunity programs, student panels, and an Opportunity Fair.
