​New York Public Library's TechConnect

New York Public Library's TechConnect is launching free S.T.E.A.M. coding clubs for children and youth ages 7-14 this fall. The kickoff event, Summer Coding Day, August 20, 2016 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, will introduce the Code Your Story program, where students can create interactive stories with Google CS First using MIT Scratch. At Summer Coding Day, participants will get to try out the curriculum and pre-register for the Code Your Story coding clubs at their local library branches. Crain's 20 Under 20

On November 28, 2016, Crain’s New York Business will feature 20 of the city's youngest stars. Crain's 20 Under 20 is a celebration of the city's most enterprising youth, the students contributing to the common good right now with their ideas and their passion. If you know someone who should be on the list, submit their name. Candidates must be 19 years old or younger before November 28, 2016. The deadline for submissions is August 29, 2016.
