Summer Program for High School Juniors

Telluride Association Summer Program (TASP) is a free six-week, June 24 - August 4, 2018, educational experience for high school juniors that offers challenges and rewards rarely encountered in secondary school or even college. Each program, held at Cornell University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Michigan, is designed to bring together young people from around the world who share a passion for learning. TASPers attend a seminar led by college and university scholars and participate in many other educational and social activities outside the classroom. Applications are due January 16, 2018.

Bridge to College & Careers Program​ at LaGuardia Community College

LaGuardia Community College's the Bridge to College & Careers Program is recruiting students for their Spring 2018 semester. The Bridge to College and Careers Program provides an educational and career pathway for adults and out of school youth. January 18th Networking Meeting: Cultivating a Growth Mindset Culture in Your Program

The Center for Educational Options OST Networking Meeting takes place January 18, 2018 from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. School's Out, Make it Count! 2018 Annual Conference

Registration is now open for NYS Network for Youth Success' conference for out-of-school time professionals. School's Out, Make it Count! takes place April 13 & 14, 2018 in Saratoga Springs, NY. The conference provides training, professional development, and networking opportunities for program staff and directors to increase the quality and sustainability of their programs. Aim High - Middle School Out of School Time Grant Opportunity

For the second year, in partnership with the Afterschool Alliance, New York Life Foundation is seeking applicants for $1M+ in grants to afterschool, summer or expanded learning programs serving disadvantaged middle school youth. Through the Aim High grant, 26 awardees will be selected based on their ability to help youth transition successfully to 9th grade. The program includes both one- and two-year grants. The Afterschool Alliance is hosting an informational webinar on January 11, 2018. Applications are due January 26, 2018.

Graduate NYC's College Completion Innovation Fund

Graduate NYC’s College Completion Innovation Fund (CCIF) aims to significantly increase college graduation rates in New York City by harnessing the collective expertise and impact of a wide range of philanthropic and education organizations. Grants will be made to support undergraduate colleges and non-profit community-based organizations that serve low-income students, first-generation college-goers, and students of color in the five boroughs. To help build capacity and encourage greater innovation among education and nonprofit organizations, the CCIF will sponsor a two-step grant-making process during winter 2018.
