Grant Program for Girls Sports – Gainbridge Assists Powered by Parity

Are you an organization that supports girls and women in sports and/or education? Consider applying for the Gainbridge Assists Powered by Parity grant program. In honor of the $5,000 check Billie Jean King used to start the Women’s Sports Foundation® 51 years ago, Gainbridge®, Parity, and the Women’s Sports Foundation will award 32 total grants of at least $5,000 each, totaling $222,000, to organizations and Parity Athletes dedicated to advancing girls and/or women in sports and/or education. In addition to the community grants, a $50,000 grant will be awarded in Billie Jean King's honor to one standout organization. Applicants should be located in the U.S., be able to share their impact through storytelling and social media, and be able to implement the grant in November 2025. Webinars with Hip Hop Public Health

Join Hip Hop Public Health for two free 45-minute virtual sessions where you’ll explore dynamic, music-driven educational resources that support students’ physical, emotional, and social well-being. On July 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM, discover The ABCs of Me, an elementary-level resource that uses hip hop and movement to teach autonomy, boundaries, and consent (register here). On July 23, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM, dive into the HYPE Collection, a series of energizing dance breaks that make physical activity fun and inclusive (register here). Summer Learning Week with National Summer Learning Association

National Summer Learning Association’s Summer Learning Week is right around the corner, happening on July 14, 2025 – July 18, 2025. Summer Learning Week is a nationwide celebration that elevates the importance of summer learning in keeping kids engaged, safe, and healthy during the summer months. This week shines a spotlight on the vital role high-quality summer programs play in supporting student success and closing the opportunity gap. Summer Learning Week brings together summer programs, educators, community leaders, and policymakers to help communities raise awareness about the importance of summer learning and celebrate the programs making a difference. Free AP Prep Courses with Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History

This summer, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History is offering three AP prep courses led by Gilder Lehrman master teachers.  Each course consists of 6 one-hour-long classes held weekly via Zoom. AP US History: Hidden Figures (June 30, 2025 – August 4, 2025) focuses on lesser-known people who played a significant role in American history. AP African American Studies: An Overview (July 9, 2025 – August 13, 2025) is an interdisciplinary exploration of the diverse experiences of African Americans and descendants of the diaspora. Finally, AP US Government and Politics: An Overview (July 10, 2025 – August 14, 2025) will explore the five content areas of AP US Government and Politics.
