Isaac Yearwood
DREAM
Isaac Yearwood is currently a College Success Counselor with DREAM Charter School’s Alumni “Legends” Program. In his years as a counselor, he has had the privilege of working with DREAM graduates as they transition to and through their post-secondary pathway – while also helping codify our program’s counseling practices & data collection. Specific to their training, he walked the organization's “Legends” through lateral, reverse, and vertical transfers – both on account of planned and circumstantial outcomes – with a focus on stabilization throughout the transition.
Having stopped out of school before returning to complete his Bachelors, Isaac has been fortunate to develop relationships with youth grounded in compassion, accountability, expectation, and affirmation that with the right resources, college truly is possible.
