Afterschool Youth Outcomes Inventory

A comprehensive tool for afterschool practitioners to use in assessing and articulating their programs' impact on youth. This inventory represents a collective effort to identify a full realm of outcomes for children and youth and present these outcomes in clear and accessible language. Programs can use this inventory to communicate their impact to variety of stakeholders as well as to more readily identify and measure this positive impact.

College Prep Programming Assessment Tool (CPPAT)

Self assessment tool for programs that focuses on indicators of college prep programming effectiveness in a variety of college preparation & completion domains for both middle school and high school youth. Programs can use the CPPAT to identify priorities & strategize any potential changes related to their college prep programming.

Fostering Financial Literacy for Youth Resource List

This resource list, compiled as part of our Fostering Financial Literacy for Youth program, provides staff with access to information needed to provide relevant and up to date financial education to their youth. The list includes links to tools, lesson plans, and articles to help staff develop financial literacy lessons. The topics covered include budgeting and saving, college financial aid packages, credit cards, debts and loans, and investment.

Fostering Financial Literacy for Youth provides professional development workshops to afterschool professionals focused on educating high school students in financial literacy to better prepare them for life during and after their time in higher education.

Afterschool Pathfinder

Afterschool Pathfinder as a free service for everyone who works in the out-of-school time field. This site can help staff find a job; post an available job; find professional development opportunities; or share upcoming trainings, conferences, webinars, credit-bearing courses and other professional development opportunities related to out-of-school time and youth development.

Nonprofit Outsourcing Clearinghouse (NOC)

The Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York (NPCC) recently launched a Nonprofit Outsourcing Clearinghouse (NOC) program to help nonprofits reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve operational quality through the use of outsourced services. A primary component of this program is the creation of a publicly searchable database of outsourced service providers. Nonprofits can use this tool to compare vendors within eight areas: Information Technology, Bookkeeping & Financial Management, Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, Risk Management, Human Resources, Purchasing and Legal Services. NPCC is also running a consulting program for organizations that wish to receive an in-depth consultation on their back-office functions. Dollars for College: A Student Financial Planning Toolkit

Dollars for College Financial Planning Toolkit is designed to help students and families best understand all the available resources that can make higher education affordable. Presented by America’s Promise Alliance, The Citi Foundation, and uAspire, this toolkit offers the information students and families need in the comprehensible form of a timeline. Through this toolkit, students and families can better navigate the financial aid process and make informed decisions at every step of the way. Dollars for College is organized into six sections to make the information that much more accessible.
