Nonprofit Outsourcing Clearinghouse (NOC)
The Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York (NPCC) recently launched a Nonprofit Outsourcing Clearinghouse (NOC) program to help nonprofits reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve operational quality through the use of outsourced services. A primary component of this program is the creation of a publicly searchable database of outsourced service providers. Nonprofits can use this tool to compare vendors within eight areas: Information Technology, Bookkeeping & Financial Management, Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, Risk Management, Human Resources, Purchasing and Legal Services. NPCC is also running a consulting program for organizations that wish to receive an in-depth consultation on their back-office functions.
