Modeling What Matters: Adult SEL in Action

November 20, 2025 10:00 am to 11:30 am

A workshop for DYCD funded organizations.

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

Join this online session to extend SEL to adults.

Social and emotional learning is not just for youth.  It forms a baseline for not only how we approach after school, but how we approach our lives. Learn the importance of how social and emotional intelligence impacts daily interactions and functioning in all environments, how these skills affect students, yourself, and colleagues in work and beyond, and learn how you can best model these crucial skills to youth in your program, while maximizing program efficacy with your peers.

This workshop is intended for DYCD funded organizations. DYCD Staff are welcome. This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $230 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for cancelling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
