Partnership for After School Education

Biography

Estel Arias joined PASE as the Program Coordinator at PASE in February 2023. She recently graduated from Smith College with a bachelor's degree in psychology and education. Her undergraduate courses and experience teaching high school students inspired her long-term career goal of working in non-profit organizations focused on upward mobility for youth and families. Before attending Smith College, Estel was selected as a Kaplan Leadership Scholar, a highly competitive program, focused on college transfer and graduation. Through this experience, she witnessed first-hand the impact of mentorship and support for students transitioning from high school to college. She subsequently served as a college coach through the Smith Education Initiative, working directly with high school students in a nationally recognized, cohort-based youth development and leadership program. As a college coach, she provided one-on-one mentorship, mindset coaching, resume review, and college prep workshops. She is eager to support the mission and values of PASE and the team members.
