This online session supports staff in creating more culturally responsive programs and groups.
Culturally-responsive practice starts with understanding how to build connections with people across cultures, which includes not only ethnic cultures but religions, neighborhoods, and more. Participants will learn the neuroscience behind culturally-responsive practice and build the skills needed to make their programs more inclusive and engaging for diverse populations.
This workshop is intended for DYCD funded organizations. DYCD Staff are welcome. This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $230 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for cancelling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
