Effective Supervision for Summer Staff

With only a few weeks to create a meaningful experience for campers and staff alike, supervisors must quickly establish clear expectations, build team cohesion, and maintain high energy throughout the summer. This online workshop is designed specifically for leaders in summer day camp settings. You’ll learn how to set the tone early, clarify roles and responsibilities, and create intentional opportunities for continuous relationship building among staff. We’ll also explore ways to keep your team motivated and engaged—even during long, hot days and mid-season fatigue.

This workshop is intended for DYCD funded organizations. DYCD Staff are welcome. This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $230 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for cancelling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
